Project Introduction
GS Housing has customized and developed a container camp for the Saudi Red Sea Project. Tailored to the local extreme climate conditions, it utilizes weather-resistant materials, modular design, and an intelligent management system to meet the high-standard accommodation needs of 2,500 workers.
Project Core Requirements:
— Durable and comfortable design adapted to high-temperature, arid, and high wind-sand environments;
— Rapid deployment capability, compliant with overseas high-standard construction management requirements;
— Integration of multifunctional modules including accommodation, office, sanitation, and dining facilities.
Project Challenges
— Extreme Climate: High temperatures, intense UV radiation, and significant day-night temperature variations require solutions for thermal insulation, moisture resistance, and ventilation;
— Construction Standards: Compliance with both Saudi international engineering codes and European/American safety management systems is required;
Product Design and Optimization
— Thermal Insulation and Heat Resistance System:
— The container uses Class A non-combustible 75mm thick color steel sandwich wall panels;
— The exterior walls are coated with graphene powder electrostatic spray paint (thickness ≥100μm);
— Energy-saving air conditioning and sandproof ventilation filters are standard for the entire unit.
— Moisture Resistance and Drainage System:
— Elevated base design to isolate the container from ground heat radiation and water accumulation;
— Integrated PE waterproof base for bathrooms/showers, with anti-clogging filters installed in drainage pipes;
— Large-diameter corrosion-resistant piping materials and optimized drainage routes to ensure rapid rainwater discharge from the camp.
— Structural Reinforcement:
— High-strength steel frame with anti-loosening bolt connections, capable of withstanding 12-level winds;
— Thermal break aluminum alloy doors/windows with double-glazed glass for sand proof sealing.
Rapid Deployment
— High Prefabrication Rate: Over 90% of components are prefabricated domestically, enabling on-site installation via simple bolt connections—eco-friendly and pollution-free.
— Certification Compliance: All units are SASO-certified (Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization), meeting local regulatory standards.
